Congratulations, and thank you for choosing Giorgio Men's Wear for your wedding party. Here's how it works, so your day goes smoothly.
How it works
- Start early. Come in 6 weeks to 3 months before the wedding.
- Consultation. The groom or organizer comes in to set up the party in SuitMates: the date, the party members and the colors for suits, shirts and ties. Bring color swatches and a general idea of the look you both want. If the entire party is out of town, register on MenSuits.com instead.
- First fitting. Each member walks in, Monday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm, and we record his sizes in SuitMates.
- Second fitting. When the party's merchandise is ready, we'll text and/or call the groom. Everyone comes back to be sized and marked for alterations.
- Pick-up. Often 3–5 days before the wedding, with time for any final adjustments.
Payments
- We typically ask for a deposit at the first sizing. A deposit is required when any item is ordered from an outside vendor.
- Full payment is due at the second fitting, before alterations can be scheduled.
- Alterations are priced separately from the suit.
Changes to your party
- Any change to the wedding party within 30 days of the wedding needs management approval.
- Fees apply only if items were ordered from an outside vendor or the party's merchandise has already been pulled for the event.
- New members pay only for their own merchandise, with no added fee.
- A member removed after his merchandise has been pulled is charged $50 to cover holding it out of inventory. A member who paid in full is refunded his payment minus the $50 fee.
Good to know
- Boys' suits come from a different vendor. We match them as closely as possible to the men's suits.
- Big and tall sizes may come from a different brand. We match them as closely as possible to the party's colors.
- Suits are cut from different bolts of fabric at different times, so there can be a slight color variation.
- For shoes, we suggest choosing a color and letting each groomsman pick his own style and budget.
- We work on weddings in date order and give every wedding the same attention.
- Don't forget groomsmen gifts: cufflinks, belts, socks, suspenders and more.
